WHAT IT DOES

The jobs that eat your week

Workshop

Book in, fix, hand back

Book a bike in, work it on its ticket, send the "ready" message by WhatsApp or email. The ticket makes the Shopify invoice and takes the payment: cash, card or a split.

Parts

Order parts for every job

Not in stock? Pick the part from the Madison, JHI or Cara Trade catalogue right on the job, and it joins that supplier's order. One press fills your Madison or JHI basket, and when the delivery comes in the part is ticked off and the job moves on by itself.

Deliveries

Invoice in, stock in

Fetch the supplier's invoice or drop it in as PDF, Excel or CSV. Every line is read and matched, cost rises are flagged, and one press books the stock into Shopify and creates any new products.

B2W

Bike to Work, start to finish

The order, the employer's invoice in Xero, the go-ahead and the handover to the till. Unpaid employer invoices are flagged after 30 days.

Warranty

Chase every claim

Claims linked to the repair they came from, with photos and the supplier's reference. Anything waiting 14 days gets flagged.

Floor

Sell what you have

Stock and prices at a glance, a reorder list, used bikes posted to Shopify and DoneDeal, and reports on margins, sell-through and stock value.

IN USE EVERY DAY

See it working

LugWorks runs the workshop, stock and back office of an independent Irish bike shop with two branches. Every feature on this page is in daily use there.

The tour · 3:13. One repair: booked in, a part ordered from the supplier, the delivery booked into Shopify, the invoice raising itself, and the bike paid for by cash, card or a split.

Step-by-step guides to each part of the app:

Repairs · 5:14. A bike booked in with the estimate adding itself up, more bikes for the same customer, a puncture done while they wait, parts and labour on the ticket, the bill sent by WhatsApp or email, paid in cash, card or a split, and the same jobs on a phone.
Parts Ordering · 3:30. A part picked from the shop or a supplier on the repair, every part grouped by supplier, a customer order for someone who rang, the order sent to JHI or Madison, and the delivery ticking it all off.
Purchase Orders · 6:07. The supplier's invoice fetched for you, every line read in, cost rises flagged, new products priced to .99, stock split between shops, workshop supplies kept out, and one press to book it all into Shopify.
Warranty · 1:55. Open and stale claims on the dashboard, a claim started right on the repair, sent with the supplier's reference, a tile for every stage, and the customer told.
Products and Reorder List · 4:01. Search, filters and tiles, days of stock left, bulk price, tag and status changes checked before they go, missing SKUs filled in, and what to reorder.
Bike to Work · 2:54. The order with who pays what worked out, the employer's invoice raised in Xero, the go-ahead recorded, the bike handed over to the till, and overdue invoices flagged.
Used Bikes · 2:51. A second-hand bike added photo-first, published to Shopify, posted on DoneDeal with the ad text copied for you, trade-in enquiries, and marked sold with an Undo.
Reports · 2:58. Costs that rose without the price following, what's selling and what isn't, supplier spend by month, reorder suggestions, stock value for the accountant, and the workshop week by week.
On your phone · 1:29. One home screen for the whole shop, a bike booked in at the bench with a photo, jobs moved on with a thumb, a used bike listed from the shop floor, and dark mode for the workshop.

Made-up customers on a test shop. No sound.

ABOUT

Built in the workshop

LugWorks started as the back office for an independent bike shop in Ireland. Every screen was built around a job the shop does every week: booking bikes in, chasing parts, bringing in deliveries, and running Bike to Work.

It was built alongside the shop's staff, and it works with the suppliers Irish shops already deal with, including Madison, JHI and Cara Trade.

Your shop's data stays yours.
